Goal-focused physiotherapy to support mobility, independence, and everyday function for NDIS participants.
Physiotherapy can play an important role in supporting people with disability to move more comfortably, improve functional capacity, and maintain independence. Programs are designed around your goals and may focus on mobility, strength, balance, endurance, or daily functional tasks.
At BodySense Physiotherapy, we take the time to understand your needs and work collaboratively with you, your family, and your support team where appropriate.
At BodySense Physiotherapy, we support NDIS participants of all ages through tailored physiotherapy programs designed to align with individual goals and everyday needs. Our focus is on improving movement, function, and confidence, while supporting independence and participation in daily life.
Physiotherapy services are delivered in a way that respects your abilities, preferences, and NDIS plan requirements.
NDIS physiotherapy programs are tailored to each participant and may include a combination of hands-on support, active rehabilitation, and functional assessment.
Depending on your goals, physiotherapy may include:
NDIS physiotherapy at BodySense is guided by goal-focused care. We work with you to identify meaningful goals and develop physiotherapy programs that support progress towards those goals.
Where appropriate, we collaborate with support coordinators, carers, and other health professionals to ensure physiotherapy is integrated into your broader support plan.
Physiotherapy services may be available to NDIS participants where it is considered reasonable and necessary and aligns with the goals outlined in your plan. Our team can assist in clarifying service options and ensuring physiotherapy support is delivered appropriately.
If you are unsure whether physiotherapy is suitable within your NDIS plan, we encourage you to contact our team to discuss your needs.
If you are already seeing a physiotherapist, we ensure they receive a copy of our report and recommendations so your ongoing care can be adjusted accordingly. Where possible, we communicate directly with your physiotherapist to discuss findings and management options.
If you live a long way from our clinic, we are happy to refer you to a physiotherapist closer to your home and provide them with a clear handover of our assessment findings and recommendations.
We’re now welcoming patients at Pier Street Medical, right next to HBF Park.
